Job Summary
Shift Supervisor responsible for front desk operations and member experience, acting as lead on duty during assigned shifts. Responsibilities include greeting members, assisting with memberships and day passes, operating Rock Gym Pro for check-ins and payments, giving facility tours, and ensuring accurate program communication. Provides shift leadership to Desk Staff, serves as escalation point for member concerns and operational issues, oversees safety, cleanliness, and adherence to CRG standards, coordinates onboarding and training of new Desk Staff, and collaborates with the General Manager on incidents, maintenance coordination, and task execution. Requires a flexible schedule, customer-service and leadership skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced gym environment.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible schedule with availability to work nights, weekends, early mornings, and some holidays
- Prior experience as Desk Staff or in a similar customer-facing leadership role preferred
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take initiative and make sound decisions during shifts
- Friendly, approachable, and confident leadership style
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working at heights of 40+ feet and lifting up to 50 lbs (location dependent)
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Experience with Google Suite and Rock Gym Pro preferred
