The Group Exercise Instructor delivers high-quality group fitness classes aligned with Central Rock Gym's standards, fosters an engaging and inclusive class environment, promotes participation in CRG programming, and ensures the studio space and equipment are properly maintained before, during, and after each session. Responsibilities include learning and teaching CRG-standard classes, coordinating class schedules with management, assisting with class bookings and rosters in Rock Gym Pro, promoting classes via CRG’s website, social media, and in-gym channels, creating a positive and motivating space for participants, preparing and resetting the studio and ensuring equipment is cleaned and stored, performing additional duties as assigned, and maintaining dependable sub coverage. Requirements include a flexible schedule (early mornings/evenings/weekends), 2+ years of teaching experience and a 200-hour certification, knowledge of relevant fitness practices, a friendly, member-focused demeanor, strong communication and customer service skills, optional climbing knowledge, and the ability to work independently.
