Job Summary
As a Climbing Instructor, deliver private and/or group instruction to climbers of varying skill levels, manage private session bookings via CRG’s Rock Gym Pro platform, coordinate class schedules with management, and help promote CRG offerings through the website, social channels, and in-gym outreach. Foster an inclusive, positive, community-focused atmosphere, maintain a clean, safe environment before/after classes, and perform additional duties as assigned. Requires 3+ years of climbing experience with teaching or coaching, strong communication and customer-service skills, flexible availability including evenings/weekends, knowledge of modern climbing instruction methods, and the ability to build and manage a client base. CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of climbing experience with some prior teaching or coaching experience
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Knowledge of modern climbing instruction methods and techniques
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in building a client base
- CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but not required
