Job Summary
Climbing Instructor needed to deliver private and group climbing sessions at Central Rock Gym in Boston, MA. Responsibilities include planning engaging private sessions, coordinating class schedules, managing bookings via Rock Gym Pro, promoting offerings through CRG channels, fostering an inclusive, positive community, maintaining a safe, clean environment, and taking on additional duties as assigned. Requires flexible availability (evenings/weekends), 3+ years of climbing experience with some teaching/coaching, strong communication and customer service skills, knowledge of modern climbing instruction methods, and the ability to build a client base (CPR/First Aid preferred but not required).
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of climbing experience with some prior teaching or coaching experience
- CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of modern climbing instruction methods and techniques
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in building a client base
