Job Summary
Climbing Instructor at Central Rock Gym will plan and deliver private and group climbing sessions, coordinate class schedules with management, manage private session bookings via Rock Gym Pro, and promote offerings through CRG’s website, social media, and in-gym outreach. The role emphasizes fostering an inclusive, positive, community-oriented atmosphere, maintaining a clean, safe space before and after classes, and performing additional duties as assigned. Requires flexible availability (evenings/weekends) and 3+ years of climbing experience with teaching/coaching; strong communication and customer-service skills; ability to build a client base independently. CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of climbing experience with some prior teaching or coaching experience
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of modern climbing instruction methods and techniques
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in building a client base
- CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but not required
