Job Summary
Provide private and group climbing instruction to climbers of all levels, delivering tailored sessions and coaching to help members achieve their goals. Manage private session bookings via Rock Gym Pro, coordinate class schedules with the gym, and promote offerings through CRG’s website, social media, and in-gym outreach while fostering an inclusive, positive community. Maintain a clean, safe training environment and perform additional duties as assigned. Requires flexible availability including evenings and weekends, and 3+ years of climbing experience with some teaching/coaching background; strong communication and customer service skills; knowledge of modern climbing instruction methods; CPR/First Aid are preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years climbing experience
- some prior teaching or coaching experience
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of modern climbing instruction methods and techniques
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in building a client base
- CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but not required
