Job Summary
As a Climbing Instructor for Central Rock Gym in Orlando, you will plan and deliver engaging private climbing sessions and group classes tailored to participant goals and abilities. You will coordinate class schedules with management, manage private session bookings via Rock Gym Pro, and promote CRG offerings through the website, social media, and in-gym outreach while fostering an inclusive, positive, and community-oriented atmosphere. Maintain a clean, safe environment before and after each class and be prepared for additional duties as assigned. Requires 3+ years of climbing experience with teaching/coaching, strong communication and customer service skills, knowledge of modern instruction techniques, and the ability to work independently; CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but not required. Flexible availability including evenings and weekends is needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of climbing experience with some prior teaching or coaching experience
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of modern climbing instruction methods and techniques
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in building a client base
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but not required
