Job Summary
As a Climbing Instructor, you’ll create a fun, inclusive, and motivating environment for climbers of all levels, delivering private and/or group instruction tailored to participant goals and abilities. Responsibilities include planning and delivering sessions, coordinating class schedules with management, managing private bookings via Rock Gym Pro, promoting offerings through CRG’s channels, and contributing to a positive, community-focused gym culture. The role requires flexible availability (including evenings and weekends), strong climbing knowledge and coaching experience, excellent communication and customer service, safety awareness, and the ability to build a client base with minimal supervision. CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of climbing experience with some prior teaching or coaching experience
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of modern climbing instruction methods and techniques
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in building a client base
