Senior Route Setter leads setting days and forerunning sessions, mentors Assistant and Apprentice Setters, maintains route quality and grading accuracy up to 5.13a/b and V8, supports scheduling and events, and upholds safety protocols; reports to Head Setter and collaborates with management.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional route setting experience
- Ability to set routes up to 5.13a and boulders up to V8
- PRS 2, WAH 1 certification preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail
- Comfortable working at heights of 40+ feet on ropes, ladders, and lifts
- Skilled with power tools (impact drivers, angle grinders, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Friendly, approachable, and team-focused personality
