Mass Posting - Head Route Setter

The Head Route Setter leads the local setting team at Central Rock Gym Buffalo, overseeing route and boulder setting operations, safety checks, hold inventory, wall preparation, and mentoring Assistant and Apprentice Setters.Responsibilities include leading and scheduling the setting team; ensuring consistency, quantity, and quality of routes up to 5.13a and problems up to V7; coordinating with management on staffing and competitions; maintaining hold inventory and wall cleanliness; conducting safety inspections and ensuring staff compliance; staying updated on setting trends and industry standards; and performing duties as assigned. Skills emphasized include climbing and route setting experience, familiarity with PRS 2, WAH 2, and USAC certification, comfort with heights of 40+ feet, use of power tools, and strong organizational and teamwork abilities.
