Job Summary
As Event Staff at Central Rock Gym in Midtown, GA, you will foster a fun, welcoming environment and ensure smooth flow of special events by greeting members and guests, facilitating instruction during events, teaching rock climbing basics, developing proficiency in top rope belaying, processing registrations and waivers, issuing climbing gear, and assisting with post-event cleanup. The role requires a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, strong customer service and communication skills, experience with children and large groups, comfort with heights of 40+ feet, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A team-oriented, self-motivated, and energetic personality is essential for delivering an outstanding CRG community experience.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible schedule – ability to work nights and weekends during booked events
- Friendly, approachable, patient, and energetic personality
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience working with children and comfortable working around large groups of people
- Comfortable being at heights of 40+ feet and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. a plus
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize a variety of tasks
- Self-motivated to work, self-directed and independent as well as a Team Player
