Job Summary
Conco Construction is hiring a Mason in Wichita, KS to read architectural and structural plans, lay block and brick, layout embeds, and set door frames/steel lintels on commercial/industrial projects. The role requires outdoor work, lifting up to 50 pounds, occasionally more, and compliance with safety rules. Required Qualifications
- Ability to read architectural plans for layout

- Layout embeds

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or greater occasionally and 25-50 pounds frequently
- Must be able to work outdoors and stand for majority of the day
- Must be able to perform tasks while walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling
- All offers of employment are conditioned by successfully passing a background check, drug screen and physical capacity test
- Wages are based on experience and performance
- Must be able to work outside the normal operating hours (7am-4pm, winter/fall 7am-3:30pm, spring/summer)
- Employees are responsible for transportation to and from the job site
- The following tools must be provided by the candidate: Tape measure, Tool box, 4’ level, Jointers, String line, Mason hammer, 12” bolt cutters, Block and brick trowels
