Job Summary
Perform in one of two mascot suits during all Condors home games, community events, and special appearances. Execute mildly strenuous activity for several hours while embodying the character and building strong relationships with external customers. Maintain superior interpersonal and presentation skills to ensure excellent customer care for both internal and external clients in a high-pressure environment. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the AHL schedule with flexibility to accommodate game nights.
Required Qualifications
- Able to perform mildly strenuous activity for several hours at a time
- Superior interpersonal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Positive, energetic and professional attitude
- Passion for the sports and entertainment industry
- Schedule flexibility to work game nights
- Will be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays based on AHL schedule
- You have the ability to, and you enjoy building strong relationships with external customers
- You are passionate about Sports and Entertainment
- You have strong customer service skills and the ability to ensure excellent customer care to both internal and external clients
- You have the ability to execute exceptional organizational skills in the face of tight deadlines and multiple demands
- You thrive working independently and effectively in a high-pressure environment
- You have effective oral and written communication skills in addition to a strong telephone presence
- You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience performing in a suit as a school or business mascot will be considered an asset
- Knowledge of hockey and/or Condors events will be considered an asset
