Job Summary
Maryland Environmental Service (MES) seeks a Maryland First Grade Stationary Engineer responsible for safely operating, troubleshooting, and providing preventative maintenance to water tube boilers and auxiliary equipment. The position requires effective communication with the Chief Engineer and other staff, availability for all shifts, rotating weekends, and potential overtime. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, three years of relevant operating experience, a valid driver's license, and the First Grade Stationary Engineer's License.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from standard high school or GED
- Three years of operating experience in steam plant operations
- Valid driver's license with less than 5 points
- First Grade State of Maryland Stationary Engineer's License
Additional Requirements
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- MES does not participate in programs that require sponsorship for work visas
