Job Summary
Greet customers and professional contractors, operate forklifts and pallet jacks to merchandise and stock the yard and warehouse, and assist truck drivers in delivering materials to homeowners and job sites. Load and unload freight while validating transaction records, accurately build loads, and prepare inventory for delivery. Maintain yard and warehouse cleanliness, identify product shortages, and ensure all equipment remains safe and operational. Follow safety guidelines, attend regular safety meetings, and perform other duties assigned by management. This part-time role with Central Network Retail Group offers hourly pay with no overtime exemption.
Required Qualifications
- forklift certification
- some delivery experience
- experience dealing with the public
- basic math skills
- satisfactory reading, writing, and speaking skills
- ability to lift and load merchandise weighing up to 100 lbs
- ability to place merchandise in locations above six feet in height
- ability to unload a delivery truck
- ability to climb a ladder
- ability to maneuver safely at store, in yard or warehouse, and at job sites
