Job Summary
Lead engaging and safe Karate classes for all skill levels, teaching techniques with a focus on proper form, safety, and student progression. Develop structured lesson plans for youth and adult programs, provide individualized coaching, and build strong relationships to help students achieve their personal goals. Manage member check-ins, retail sales, and class enrollments using gym software while promoting memberships, products, and classes through social media. Assist with gym tours, organize events and seminars, and maintain training equipment and facility cleanliness. Prepare students for competitions and foster a safe, inclusive environment that reflects the organization's core values.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet diverse learning needs
Desired Qualifications
- Black Belt in Karate Preferred
- Previous coaching or teaching experience is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to helping students of all ages and abilities succeed
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required)
