Job Summary
Teach martial arts to children and teens (ages 4-18) at Impact Dojo, delivering daily martial arts instruction, demonstrating techniques, observing and assessing progress, supervising groups, enforcing safety rules, and creating engaging daily lesson plans. Communicate effectively with students and their parents, provide constructive feedback, and act as a positive role model. Maintain a safe learning environment, follow the Code of Conduct, uphold Impact Martial Arts Core Values, and travel as needed to support programs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience working with children
- Martial Arts teaching experience (1 – 5 years minimum)
- A Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Teaching certification (preferred but not required)
- Child abuse clearance and criminal checks
- Ability to travel
