Job Summary
Martial Arts Instructor needed to supervise and teach students aged 4–18 in a Chicagoland martial arts program. Responsibilities include providing daily martial arts instruction, demonstrating techniques, observing and assessing student progress, managing groups, ensuring safety, preparing daily lesson plans, enforcing rules, and collaborating with fellow instructors. Must deliver constructive feedback, communicate effectively with students and families, and embody the organization’s code of conduct. Requires a child abuse clearance and criminal checks; 2+ years’ experience with children and 1–5 years in martial arts teaching; bachelor’s degree preferred; teaching certification preferred. Will travel as part of duties; must be a patient, team-oriented, flexible educator dedicated to youth development.
