Job Summary
Provide daily martial arts instruction to students aged 4-18, supervise groups, and create a safe, engaging learning environment. Demonstrate martial arts techniques, explain underlying principles, assess student progress, and give constructive feedback. Develop and deliver daily lesson plans, enforce safety rules, and maintain high-quality interaction with students and families. Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists to reinforce the curriculum and uphold the Impact Dojo Code of Conduct while traveling as needed and maintaining a positive role model presence.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience working with children
- Martial Arts teaching experience (1 – 5 years minimum)
- A Child abuse clearance and criminal checks are required
- Teaching certification (preferred but not required)
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)
