Job Summary
Oversees purchasing across departments, manages inventory and vendor relations, and supports budgeting and cost control for food and beverage operations. Duties include ordering based on business needs, ensuring sanitation and safety standards, coordinating with Executive Chef on purchasing (food, beverages and controllable costs), maintaining inventory controls and FIFO, verifying invoices against shipments, generating reports, and using computer systems to post invoices and track costs. Requires a 4-year degree in Finance/Accounting or related major or at least 2 years in Purchasing; proficiency with inventory, budgeting, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with kitchen and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major
- minimum of 2 years’ experience in Purchasing or a related field
