Job Summary
Serve guests at Tommy Bahama's Marlin Bar with a focus on hospitality and sales success. Responsibilities include maintaining complete knowledge of food and beverage menus, handling cash and operating the POS system, upselling, ensuring cleanliness and safety, and collaborating with teammates to deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, laid-back luxury environment. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and using bar and kitchen tools (blenders, knives, wine keys) as part of daily responsibilities. Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus – including ingredients, preparation methods and presentation
- Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
- Bending/stooping/kneeling – frequently
- Routine standing for duration of shift
- Experience with cash handling and POS system
- Ability to maintain a clean, sanitary and safe environment for guests and team members
