Job Summary
Bring the island spirit to life by making every guest feel at home and maintaining proper stock levels of perishables and spirits. Possess complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation, while verifying proper identification of guests when alcohol is ordered. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment by safely maneuvering equipment such as hand carts, blenders, knives, and wine keys. Scheduled shifts are determined by business needs. Required Qualifications
- Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
- Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently
- Routine standing for duration of shift
- Safely Maneuvering the following types of equipment or machinery: Hand cart, blenders, knives, slices, wine keys and other tools provided to complete work
- Possess complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus – including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation
- Possess knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
- Verify proper government-issued identification of Guests when alcohol is ordered as required by state and federal law
- Maintain proper stock levels (including inventory control and ordering) of perishables and spirits according to projected business
