Job Summary
Analyst role in the Global Commodities Group focusing on APAC metals markets, based in GIFT City (Gandhinagar, India). Responsibilities include supporting APAC Sales with marketing materials, origination, pre- and post-trade activities, market research, pricing analysis, building pitch books and models in Excel, data management in internal systems, and liaising with legal/control/operations to support pre-trade activities. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, understanding of financial products across FXO, rates, equities, fixed income, and commodities, and an interest in global financial markets. Preferred candidates have experience in financial services support, familiarity with bank operations, market research tools, pricing experience, client-facing exposure, and advanced Excel or data visualization skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Understanding of financial products (FXO, Rates, Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Demonstrated interest in global financial markets
- Experience in a financial services support role (preferred)
- Familiarity with operations of a bank (preferred)
- Knowledge of market research tools and techniques (preferred)
- Exposure to pricing vanilla and exotic solutions (preferred)
- Experience with client-facing activities (preferred)
- Advanced Excel or data visualization skills (preferred)
