Job Summary
Marketplace & Launch Operations Manager at HopSkipDrive, a remote-first company leading safe, fast, and simple supplemental student transportation. Own end-to-end success of marketplace performance in new markets by building predictive supply-demand forecasts, optimizing zip-code mappings and cluster assignments, shipping targeted productivity promotions, monitoring net revenue and contribution margin, and driving cross-functional remediation for underperforming markets. Design, build, and ship data-backed recommendations leveraging AI-assisted workflows; manage scope, owners, and progress across launch initiatives; operate with high autonomy in ambiguous environments. Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and Tableau; comfortable using AI tools daily; able to translate complex data into actionable insights and scalable processes. This role is fully remote within US states listed, with equity and comprehensive benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in analytical, cross-functional, or operations roles, ideally in marketplace, logistics, or high-growth environments
- Excel/Google Sheets power user with ability to build models and dashboards for non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to make nuanced business decisions based on imperfect information and own outcomes
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and align teams
- Strong communication skills to translate complexity for various audiences
- High agency and independence in fast-moving environments
- Experience independently pulling and structuring data, with comfort using SQL or other data querying tools
- Working knowledge of Tableau and ability to contribute to team dashboards
- Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity) as part of daily workflow
- Ability to manage end-to-end launch lifecycle from infrastructure setup to cross-functional coordination and performance monitoring
