Marketing & Workforce Development Intern (Fall 2026)

Job Summary

Work with company leadership to inform workforce development and community engagement strategy. Create marketing materials including flyers, social posts, and email content to promote workshops and program opportunities. Drive outreach campaigns to partner organizations such as community colleges and workforce boards, coordinating joint programming and referrals. Help identify and recruit target students and young adults for workshops and info sessions. Provide operational support for follow-on activities including scheduling, attendance tracking, logistics, and post-event follow-up. Maintain outreach and partner contact records while creating on-brand social content on LinkedIn and Instagram. This role supports florrent's mission to scale next-generation supercapacitors by building the talent pipeline to address global power quality and decarbonization challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • Massachusetts-based, or attending a Massachusetts university to qualify for the MassCEC Clean Energy Internship Program

Desired Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or recently completed a relevant program (business, communications, education, or similar) - not required, but a plus
  • Excellent and proactive communication skills
  • Proficiency with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, GSlides/PP, and/or Figma/Canva)
  • Clear writing skills and attention to detail; comfort with version control and deadlines
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments
  • Interest in workforce development, clean energy, and/or community engagement
