Job Summary
The Marketing Support Specialist is responsible for processing manufacturer promotions from start to finish in coordination with the marketing team. They serve as the lead in communications with the sales team and customers regarding promotions, evaluate incoming promotional communications for accuracy and ensure promotions are processed and tracked for reimbursement, set up promotions online and test them to ensure proper function, and draft informative internal memos for the sales team. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. They will collaborate with Marketing team members to draft and post promotions, create Penn Vet exclusive promotions, evaluate promotions for reporting needs, communicate with finance about promotional expenses and reimbursement, liaise between marketing and purchasing, present promotions across channels, develop additional support materials, review promotional content, draft and publish new product memos with the Marketing leadership team, and perform other related duties as required. The position requires commuting to Lancaster, PA and working a hybrid schedule; travel periodically is also expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Copywriting experience a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Ability to work from a dedicated home office with reliable internet
- Ability to travel periodically
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating with a team
