Job Summary
Marketing Specialist role across Steele Auto Group dealerships in Atlantic Canada, blending hands-on field marketing with digital strategy. Responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies across campaigns, websites, and social media; managing dealership social channels, messaging, lead engagement, reviews, and community interaction; running and optimizing digital advertising (SEM, display, paid social); monitoring performance and providing reporting and insights; ensuring creative aligns with brand standards; partnering with General Managers on coordinated campaigns across radio, print, social, email, and text; supporting on-site visits, partnerships, sponsorships, and local events; managing vendor relationships with platforms like Kijiji, CarGurus, Autotrader, and Rapid Response; coordinating marketing materials; supporting the Marketing and Communications Manager with additional projects; requires 2+ years in marketing, post-secondary education in marketing/communications, strong SEO/SEM/email/social skills, writing/editing, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams. Automotive experience is an asset; French and English bilingualism is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in marketing or digital marketing
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, content creation, and digital advertising
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
