Job Summary
Develop and implement marketing campaigns that promote the City as a destination for visitors, events, and experiences; manage digital advertising across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, YouTube) with targeting and retargeting; create and edit print and digital materials (brochures, flyers, signage, banners, social graphics, videos); analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies; manage advertising budgets and produce performance reports; collaborate with tourism partners, local businesses, and regional organizations; produce and edit video content for social media and promotions; contribute to broader communications efforts including social media content, website updates, and email marketing; ensure consistent City branding across platforms; identify opportunities to strengthen the City’s identity through storytelling and design; travel within city and surrounding region for meetings and events; ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design or closely related field is required.
- Three (3) years of experience in digital marketing, with specific expertise in social media and digital advertising.
- Proven experience with social media marketing, content management systems, SEO and SEM.
