Job Summary
Marketing Science Analyst role supporting the test, measure, and scale cycle for Flipp's Shopper Consideration Platform. Responsibilities include designing/ executing analysis per testing plans, data extraction and manipulation, applying statistical concepts, reporting insights, and building business cases to demonstrate the impact of marketing initiatives. Requires strong SQL, Python/Scala/R skills, BI tool experience (Tableau, PowerBI, Thoughtspot, Looker), familiarity with cloud data platforms, and ability to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences. Remotely based in Canada with a remote-first environment.
Required Qualifications
- Post secondary degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics/Math/Finance/Economics/Business Engineering or similar field
- 1-2 years experience as a data analyst
- Demonstrated abilities in data extraction and analysis - SQL, Python, Scala, R
- Familiarity w/industry leading BI tools - tableau, PowerBI, Thoughtspot, Looker
- Foundational knowledge of cloud data platforms - AWS, Azure, GCP an asset
- Experience working with databricks an asset
- Familiarity with foundational Retail, CPG, digital measurement & consumer insight concepts
