Job Summary
Marketing Representative for Florida territories focused on maintaining and growing customers within the assigned territory. Responsibilities include advising agents on Utica First products, increasing premium volume, training agency staff on our policies and the Utica First Policy Rating System, assisting Home Office with agency balances and service issues, making agency prospect calls, and meeting production targets across years one to three. The role requires identifying and educating potential agents on policy options, building relationships to meet company goals, and traveling regularly to multiple locations. Required skills include knowledge of Small Commercial Property and Casualty policies, moderate computer skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to visit 10-14 locations weekly. Education level desired corresponds to the four-year college equivalent, and experience in the insurance industry as a marketing representative is expected, with continued professional development toward CPCU or CIC desirable, along with strong communication and customer-relations capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent of four years of general college or study in the insurance field
- Minimum of at least 3 years’ experience in the insurance industry as a company marketing representative
- Progress towards industry designations such as CPCU or CIC desirable
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to manage regimen of daily drives and visits to 10-14 locations in the territory each week
