Job Summary
Coordinate proposal and SOQ preparation, including schedule tracking, team communications, and final production. Lead content development and formatting to ensure compliance and alignment with client needs, while maintaining pursuit schedules and communicating status updates. Draft cover letters, executive summaries, and resumes; assemble and archive materials; and prepare client-facing presentations and graphics. Support marketing campaigns by researching clients and competitors, creating targeted materials, and updating content libraries. Collaborate with technical teams and subject matter experts to collect pursuit content, manage procurement portals, and extract information for future pursuits.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or public relations
- Four (4) years or more of progressive professional experience in engineering, architecture, or commercial construction
- Eight (8) years of directly related experience
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the responsibilities of the position
- Progressive professional experience includes performing increasingly complex and varied technical and project assignments in the field of marketing and advertising
- Prior experience leading proposal teams
- Working knowledge of the following Microsoft products: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Teams, and SharePoint
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret marketing, technical, and other business documents
- Ability to interview technical practitioners for marketing materials and proposals
- Ability to author marketing materials and correspondence that is well written and organized, clearly presented, focused on the subject at hand and furthers the Geosyntec brand
- Ability to create effective presentations and respond to inquiries from internal and external clients
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to write in a marketing and/or journalistic manner
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with graphic design and production, desktop publishing and presentation software
- Possess an understanding and/or experience of the RFQ/RFP process
- Possess an understanding and/or experience of techniques associated with the evaluation of promotional activities
- Possess an understanding and/or experience of federal, state and local procurement procedures
- Possess an understanding and/or experience of activities associated with the development and evaluation of marketing plans and their effectiveness
- Availability to work standard business hours aligned within the Pacific Time Zone
