Job Summary
Administer the Optimizely Content Marketing Platform and Digital Asset Management environment, configuring workflows, managing metadata, and maintaining asset quality across intake, approval, and distribution processes. Support users and agencies with onboarding, training, and triage while monitoring operational performance metrics to drive adoption and identify bottlenecks. Implement approved process improvements, evolve the DAM into a sales enablement tool, and report on credit consumption and platform roadmaps. Work across MarCom, Compliance, IT, and Lines of Business to ensure consistent governance and efficiency throughout the marketing content lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Information Systems, Information Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, content operations, digital asset management, project management, or a similar role within a marketing technology environment
- Hands-on experience administering or configuring at least one Content Marketing Platform, Digital Asset Management, work management, or content operations platform
- Demonstrated experience configuring marketing workflows, request forms, project templates, permissions, approval paths, notifications, calendars, and operational reporting
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining taxonomy, metadata, naming conventions, folder structures, asset lifecycle controls, versioning, usage rights, expiration, and archival practices
- Ability to analyze operational data, identify bottlenecks and trends, and communicate practical recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working within structured creative, compliance, or approval processes, with experience in a regulated or highly brand-governed environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Optimizely CMP or DAM
- Comparable platforms may include Adobe Workfront, Adobe Experience Manager Assets, Bynder, Aprimo, Acquia DAM, Sitecore Content Hub, Monday.com, or Asana
- Marketing platform or software certification(s)
- Experience in a regulated or highly brand-governed environment preferred
- Strong facilitation, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to drive process adoption across teams without direct authority
- Service-oriented mindset, curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement and user adoption
- Critical thinker with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail, quality assurance, and data quality, particularly for metadata, permissions, approval status, and asset lifecycle controls
- Technical fluency and the ability to translate business needs into clear platform requirements, configurations, documentation, and support guidance
- Working knowledge of content and asset lifecycles, brand governance, structured approvals, and the needs of regulated marketing environments
