Job Summary
Founding hire for the client's internal marketing function, operating as an independent contractor and fully remote from the Philippines. The role leads the transition from external agencies to an in-house marketing operation, owning strategy across multiple channels, building a connected marketing funnel, and coordinating content production and distribution. Key duties include defining and implementing an overarching marketing strategy, managing lifecycle marketing and segmentation (ActiveCampaign), implementing chat automation (ManyChat), overseeing content workflows across podcast, YouTube, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, coordinating with an existing virtual assistant, managing external agencies, reporting on lead generation and enquiries, and eventually building and leading a growing marketing team. Essential qualifications focus on 5+ years in digital marketing, multi-channel funnel strategy, experience with Salesforce/GoHighLevel/ActiveCampaign, ManyChat, content workflow management, agency coordination, strong written English, organization, and AI applications in marketing.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in digital marketing
- Demonstrated experience building marketing strategy
- Strong experience with Salesforce, GoHighLevel, and/or ActiveCampaign — email marketing, automation, audience segmentation and retargeting (must-have)
- Experience implementing chat automation tools such as ManyChat (must-have)
- Ability and willingness to learn new marketing technologies as required
- Experience managing content production workflows and scheduling at volume across multiple platforms
- Experience overseeing or coordinating external agencies
- Excellent written English with strong brand-voice judgement
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to build process from scratch
- Strong understanding of how to apply AI to marketing tasks (e.g. lead magnet creation)
