Job Summary
Develop and implement marketing campaigns supporting the Cooperative's business goals across Agronomy, Retail Stores, Feed, and other units. Manage advertising, social media, email marketing, and digital channels while creating materials like flyers, brochures, and newsletters. Coordinate community events, sponsorships, and trade shows, ensuring consistent branding across all locations. Monitor performance to recommend improvements and manage relationships with vendors and agencies. Maintain the annual marketing budget and work with managers to develop seasonal promotions. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required for events; travel between locations is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
- Three to five years of marketing experience
- Experience with social media, digital marketing, and website management
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Agricultural, retail, or cooperative experience preferred
- Marketing and branding
- Social media and digital advertising
- Graphic design and content creation
- Event planning
- Microsoft Office
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Customer-focused with excellent organizational skills
- Work is performed primarily in an office environment with regular travel to Rockingham Cooperative locations
- Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required for community events, trade shows, and promotional activities
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds of marketing materials, displays, and event supplies
- Requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel between Cooperative locations and attend off-site meetings and events
- Must be able to work in both office and outdoor environments during promotional events and agricultural activities, with exposure to varying weather conditions
