Job Summary
Develop and adjust comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns for Complexly's shows, projects, and merchandise launches using performance metrics and industry trends. Create marketing assets including photos, video, and scripts to turn casual fans into loyal viewers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align efforts with annual audience revenue goals. Direct social media strategy to customize content for each platform, optimize presence across channels, and increase website traffic and YouTube viewership. Recruit, manage, and train social media and audience relations staff, setting performance objectives and allocating marketing budgets. Analyze audience data to identify target demographics and track growth KPIs, evaluating ROI on paid efforts to identify cost-effective opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing, social media strategy, or audience growth
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Strong understanding of YouTube, social platforms, and newsletter distribution
- High proficiency with Airtable
- Highly proficient written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with Google Suite including Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Forms
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media scheduling tools, email marketing platforms, analytics software)
- Experience in marketing for a mission-driven organization
- Data-driven decision-maker with the ability to analyze and act upon social media metrics and sales/ revenue data
- Candidates must reside in (or be willing to relocate to) one of the following states: (AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, MA, MI, MO, MT, NM, NY, NC, OK, OR, PA, TN, UT, VA, WA)
