Job Summary
Draft and negotiate marketing and advertising agreements, including vendor, sponsorship, influencer, and media buying contracts. Interface regularly with branding and media management teams to advise on digital initiatives and review campaign content from concept through execution for regulatory compliance. Develop deep expertise in US regulations, industry guidelines, and self-regulatory standards while addressing legal and privacy issues in the digital marketing ecosystem. Manage workloads and competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of legal experience, including contract drafting and negotiations
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Deep transactional experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on vendor and supplier agreements
- Experience in digital media, marketing, and advertising legal matters
- Familiarity with IAB standards, FTC, and advertising regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Proficient collaboration skills and team-minded perspective
- All candidates for roles in the Legal department must be licensed to practice law in the country of employment
- successfully complete a conflicts of interest clearance review prior to commencement of employment
