Job Summary
As Marketing & Leasing Coordinator, drive leasing strategy and resident experience at Newman Student Housing Fund by supporting the Property Manager, leading leasing efforts, and executing creative marketing campaigns. responsibilities include guiding leasing consultants to meet occupancy goals, planning property events and lease-up initiatives, creating a welcoming community atmosphere, conducting in-person tours and coordinating renewals, maintaining accurate resident records in the property management system, auditing lease files for policy compliance, handling daily financial tasks (rent collection, deposits, invoices), collaborating with maintenance on safety/appearance, delivering exceptional customer service, and taking on administrative and special projects. The role also serves as on-site leader in the Property Manager’s absence. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor's degree or proven success in leasing/marketing/property management, 2+ years of leasing experience (preferably in off-campus student housing), familiarity with Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements, strong organization, communication, leadership, and bilingual abilities are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or proven success in leasing, marketing, or property management roles preferred
- 2+ years of leasing experience, especially in off-campus student housing is highly desired
- Background in multifamily housing, hospitality, retail, or sales is a plus
- Familiarity with Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
