Job Summary
Marketing Intern in Silicon Valley focusing on content creation and storytelling for Plug and Play's global marketing team. Responsibilities include writing and editing blogs, reports, lead magnets, case studies, and interviews; proposing SEO- and AI-driven improvements; researching visuals (photos, videos, infographics, social assets); supporting event materials and internal requests; capturing short-form video and photo content at events; repurposing long-form content for social posts; monitoring content performance; staying current on social trends and platform algorithms; researching competitor content strategies; gathering content insights and quotes from internal teams and event recordings.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills in English
- Understanding of SEO, content optimization, and AI search visibility (GEO) is a strong advantage
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and work collaboratively within a team
- Genuine interest in storytelling, startups, innovation, technology, and digital media
- Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and their algorithms
- Basic experience with video editing, photography, Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools is a plus
