Job Summary
Partner with corporate analytics to own the weekly and monthly business review process, preparing data-driven narratives for VP+ stakeholders on pipeline trends, investment mix, and ROI. Diagnose campaign anomalies and funnel conversion issues through ad hoc deep dives, then recommend adjustments to channel spend and budget allocation. Build and maintain models to quantify marketing impact across the buyer journey, calculating cost-per-lead, CAC by channel, and efficiency ratios to inform resource decisions. Design automated dashboards and alerting for key KPIs, ensuring consistent taxonomy and data quality across Salesforce, Marketo, and web analytics while partnering with Marketing Ops and engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in marketing analytics, GTM analytics, or business intelligence within a B2B SaaS environment
- Strong SQL skills
- hands-on experience working with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift)
- Proficiency with BI and visualization tools
- ability to build executive-ready dashboards and reporting
- Working knowledge of Salesforce
- Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms
- Deep understanding of B2B SaaS performance metrics, including pipeline, ACV, conversion rates, velocity, marketing-sourced vs. influenced pipeline, and attribution concepts
- Strong business judgment and a clear point of view
- confidence to challenge assumptions and bring data-backed perspectives to senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to independently structure ambiguous problems, move quickly, and drive them to clear, actionable recommendations
- Comfort operating in a fast-changing environment
- ability to balance speed with analytical rigor
- This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Oakland or Denver offices
- two days in the office each week
Desired Qualifications
- Looker experience preferred
- Python or R proficiency for statistical analysis, automation, or building lightweight models
- Experience with multi-touch attribution platforms (Bizible/Marketo)
- Exposure to experiment design, significance testing, or applied statistics in a marketing context
- Experience with predictive modeling: LTV estimation, propensity scoring, or cohort analysis applied to marketing audiences
- Familiarity with the modern data stack (Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, Looker)
- Background in data infrastructure, developer tools, or analytics software industries
