Job Summary
Marketing/Graphics Specialist located remotely, supporting BSNC Government Services' government contracting initiatives. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Proposals Director and Business Development to create marketing materials that depict BSNC’s capabilities and contracting options; reviewing solicitation documentation and developing graphics for proposals (including charts and covers); producing promotional materials for GSA schedules/vehicles; creating trade show graphics, advertisements, fact sheets, and press-release graphics; developing responses to Sources Soughts and RFIs; participating in proposal reviews to ensure quality and accuracy; assisting other proposal staff as needed; and performing other duties as assigned. Required BA/BS in a related field and at least 5 years of proposal-support experience in a large-government contracting environment, with strong graphic design and technical writing skills, advanced proficiency in desktop publishing and MS Office tools, and ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines. The role is full-time and exempt, with standard business hours and potential overtime to meet critical deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience supporting proposal efforts in a large-proposal Government contracting environment as a Marketing/Graphics Specialist
- Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices associated with proposal development in a Government contracting environment
- Graphic design expertise
- Technical writing ability a plus
- Interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Team player and ability to multitask
- Proficiency with Desktop Publishing/graphics programs and MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Visio) and working knowledge of Excel and Project
