Job Summary
Perform assignments and projects as determined by leadership, utilizing project management skills to manage and report on assignment and project status. Build a network of contacts within the assigned line of business or division while effectively communicating with others through strong verbal and written skills. Complete assigned coursework and participate in self-learning, performing all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Operate as a team member on larger initiatives while working independently on smaller projects, ensuring actions drive a positive customer experience. This summer 2027 externship at Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio, offers exposure to the broader organization and integrates you into day-to-day activities across the bank's lines of business.
Required Qualifications
- Rising Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in an accredited degree program
- Strong academic record with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service skills with the ability to respond to internal and/or external requests
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and be flexible
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Capacity to learn additional software applications as required by the assignment
- Capable of managing own time to meet established deadlines
- Ability to demonstrate initiative
