Job Summary
Manage and schedule content across social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Assist with website updates via WordPress and newsletters through Mailchimp, while coordinating with hotel teams to execute campaigns and activations. Prioritize tasks effectively under tight timelines, applying logical thinking to creative briefs to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. Contribute new ideas and trend-based content balanced with brand-aligned execution. Support the Senior Marketing Manager in delivering a wide range of marketing activity across Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel and InterContinental Edinburgh The George. Join a supportive team within the IHG Cluster Marketing Team where you will gain hands-on experience across multiple channels and campaigns.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with social media platforms and content creation, with an understanding of trends and best practices
- Strong organisational skills – able to juggle competing priorities and deliver at pace
- A logical approach to problem-solving and applying structured thinking to creative briefs
- Good technical knowledge: video editing and design skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, InDesign, Photoshop), website CMS (WordPress), and newsletter platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of licensing, copyright, brand guidelines, and platform policies
- You must meet the legal requirements to work in the UK
Desired Qualifications
- A good understanding of luxury hospitality and familiarity with Edinburgh's cultural scene, communities, and trendmakers is strongly preferable
- Enthusiasm to learn, grow, and take the next steps in your marketing career
