Marketing Executive (Events & Social Media)

Job Summary
Support the execution of Babble's events programme by managing logistics, coordinating suppliers, and acting as the front-of-house ambassador to customers and prospects. Assist with post-event reporting, feedback collection, and capturing attendee data in a consistent format for the wider marketing function. Develop and shape the social content calendar, primarily on LinkedIn, producing B2B content using AI tools to speed up production. Schedule, publish, and monitor content while measuring performance against business value to drive strategic changes. Work from the Wakefield office two days per week, with occasional travel across the UK to support event delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to a vehicle
- Willingness to travel nationwide to support events and marketing activities when required
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
- Confident representing Babble face to face at events, unsupervised
- Comfortable as the front-of-house presence with customers and prospects
- Confidence using social media platforms in a professional capacity
- Able to write and adapt content for a professional B2B audience
- Comfortable using AI tools day-to-day
- Keen to find ways they can make your own work faster or better
- Comfortable working with data and analytics
- Able to read performance numbers
- Able to draw a conclusion from them
- Show a concrete example of having changed an approach based on what the data told them

- Experience using content creation or design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
- Exposure to AI content or automation tools
- Familiarity with social media management and scheduling platforms such as HubSpot or similar tools
- Experience supporting events, projects or organised activities
- Understanding of social media best practice and content planning
- Experience with analytics or reporting tools
- Experience with native platform analytics
- Experience with Google Analytics
- Experience with HubSpot reporting
