Marketing, Events & Community Relations Intern

Job Summary
Create graphics and social media content for the Jackson Rockabillys, including newsletters and updates for season ticket holders and community partners. Assist with managing digital content, planning community events like movie nights, and supporting the team's reading program. Coordinate ticketing, graphic creation, and front office operations for the annual fall game and corporate Christmas party. Provide general front office support and manage projects as needed, with required on-site dates in September and October alongside flexible remote duties. Gain hands-on experience in sports marketing, communications, and event planning within a professional baseball organization.
Required Qualifications
- Current college student or recent graduate
- Interest in sports, marketing, communications, public relations, event planning, or community relations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with an eye for engaging social media and graphic content
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment when needed
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events
- Available to work on-site in Jackson for September 19, 2026
- Available to work on-site in Jackson for October 10, 2026
- Available to work on-site in Jackson for October 18, 2026
- Available to work on-site in Jackson for October 19, 2026
- Available for one additional week/date to be determined
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with graphic design or social media platforms
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
