Job Summary
Develop and execute Crisis Text Line's content and email strategy across donor emails, website, blogs, and social media; oversee creation, editing, and distribution of content, ensuring alignment with brand and audience to achieve marketing goals. Leverage SEO, data analytics, and storytelling to drive donor engagement, fundraising, and audience growth; collaborate with philanthropy, public policy, and research teams to align content with campaign strategy and organizational objectives; manage multi-channel content creation, optimization, and performance monitoring while maintaining voice and values.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional content management including SEO, email marketing and copywriting experience
- Exceptional storytelling ability, with experience crafting narratives that elicit emotional responses that convert to action
- Ability to write for different platforms (emails, social media, website, print) and adjust tone and style for different audiences (donors, staff, partners, volunteers)
- A deep understanding of email marketing best practices, and the ability to analyze data to optimize campaigns
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines while driving work forward with strong prioritization, follow-through, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
- Applied experience using analytics and performance data to refine and improve content
- Strong editing and proofreading skills to ensure high-quality, error-free content
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
