Job Summary
Develop and own strategic leadership and marketing vision to build a full-funnel demand generation strategy driving MQLs across commercial, residential, and municipal segments. Lead a small marketing team, manage operations, and directly plan initial campaigns while defining brand identity and messaging for target geographies. Analyze market segments for growth opportunities, oversee digital and social presence, and develop strategies to increase cross-sell rates among business lines. Support geographic expansion with new campaign initiatives and collaborate to pilot and launch new offerings. Establish scalable systems and processes to improve conversion rates and build a high-performing resource stack.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years of progressive marketing experience
- Demonstrated success driving MQL growth, digital marketing performance, and multi-channel campaigns
- Experience managing both digital and traditional marketing programs
- Strong portfolio of marketing collateral development and content leadership
- Expertise in in-person marketing, field marketing, or community engagement
- Expertise in building or scaling a marketing function in a growth-stage company
- Strong strategic thinking paired with willingness to execute hands-on work
- Expertise in CRM systems, marketing automation, analytics tools, and digital advertising platforms
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Passion for sustainability, circular economy, or environmental services
- Hybrid position based in Rockville, Maryland (at least one in-office day per week)
- Must live within daily commutable distance of Rockville, MD
- Occasional regional travel may be required for events, community engagement and other business needs
