Marketing Database Manager

Job Summary
Develop and execute long-term and short-term database marketing strategies to maximize player retention, engagement, and revenue through direct mail, email, text, and app campaigns. Oversee strategic direction, segmentation, offer uploads, and creative development while ensuring database integrity and protecting proprietary guest information. Monitor database health, campaign-specific KPIs, and profitability by producing timely reports and maintaining a marketing dashboard. Develop data-driven analyses and recommendations for leadership, provide campaign Pro Formas to the P&A team, and research competitive programs and predictive AI tools to drive operational efficiencies. Utilize SQL, Power BI, Cognos, and Oracle to enhance existing systems, perform analytical research projects, and deliver training to team members. Adhere to regulatory policies and promote Unsurpassed Service Standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with a concentration in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field
- Four (4) years of specialized experience in casino database
- at least two (2) years of management experience
- Work experience in the gaming or hospitality industry
- Must have SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services experience
- Experience utilizing Power BI or similar business intelligence and dashboarding tools to develop reports, visualize data, and communicate actionable business insights
- Demonstrated ability to research and report on problems and solutions with a fine attention to detail
- Ability to understand sophisticated mathematical models and concepts
- Proven experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques
- Proven knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices
- Must be able to obtain a gaming license through the Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Commission
- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, run, and climb stairs for the duration of shift
- Must have the ability to access all properties and areas
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
- Ability to read, write, and input data into the computer
- Ability to stoop, crouch and kneel
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process
- The pre-employment process also requires the ability to pass a criminal background investigation, and drug test
