Marketing & Creative Content Coordinator

Job Summary

Craft standout visual and written content for digital, print, and social platforms, showcasing Girl Scouting experiences across the Council. Collaborate with teammates to design impactful graphics, lead strategic social media, produce engaging photography and video, and maintain a vibrant digital presence. Actively promote the organization through compelling storytelling, outreach, and brand ambassadorship while representing the council's brand consistently. Manage social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, handling content creation, scheduling, community engagement, and analytics. Produce and edit photography, short-form reels, and video storytelling for events and campaigns. Develop digital and print design materials such as flyers, brochures, presentations, newsletters, and program collateral. Support digital advertising efforts including paid social campaigns, Google Ads, and performance tracking. Optimize ad performance through ongoing analysis, testing, and refinement. Maintain updated web content including program listings, imagery, and forms. Assist in council-wide campaigns covering program promotion, membership recruitment, fund development, and public relations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Multimedia Production, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, and/or content development
  • Previous work experience in a non-profit or youth services environment
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
  • Demonstrated experience creating content for social media, including graphics, photography, and video
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere)
  • Working knowledge of website CMS platforms and email marketing tools
  • Experience managing paid and organic social media content, analytics, and reporting
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Active membership in the Girl Scout organization
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid South Carolina driver's license
  • Personal auto insurance meeting the council insurance company's requirement for coverage
  • Background check

Desired Qualifications

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience to a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Multimedia Production, or related field
  • Equivalent combination of professional, nonprofit, volunteer, internship, or educational experience to 3 years in marketing, communications, social media, and/or content development
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems
