Marketing Coordinator

Marketing Coordinator responsible for promoting Marriott's brand image both internally and externally, using sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty. Identify opportunities to upsell products and sell enhancements to create better experiences or events at Marriott; encourage guests to purchase or schedule preliminary sales packages and tours; explain details related to attending a sales presentation to potential owners; verify eligibility to schedule sales packages and tours; determine and award gifts to guests as appreciation (e.g., rewards points, event tickets); respond to guest questions about services and facilities; receive, record, and transmit messages accurately; comply with company policies and maintain a neat, professional appearance; protect proprietary information; greet guests, anticipate needs, and communicate clearly; prepare and review written documents and handle phones with proper protocol; cultivate positive working relationships, support the team to achieve goals, and adhere to quality standards; be prepared to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds; perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
