Job Summary

Marketing Coordinator role (Hybrid) at MSCU focused on bringing the brand to life across digital channels and community events. Responsibilities include creating and publishing content for social media, email, and website; updating website content and blogs; planning and executing marketing events; monitoring engagement and analytics; assisting with AB testing, market research, and competitive analysis; CRM management in HubSpot; coordinating with departments; and supporting marketing operations. Required experience in professional marketing with 3-5+ years, a two-year degree or equivalent certification/training, ability to travel for events, strong writing/editing/layout skills, proficiency with Adobe Suite, data-analytic capabilities, and effective time management in a team environment. The role requires full-time, hybrid work in Shelton, CT with the credit union’s marketing team.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of professional marketing, social media, or related experience
  • Completion of one of the following: (1) A two-year college degree, (2) a specialized certification or licensing, (3) specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program
  • Ability to travel to branches and community events
  • Experience with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is strongly preferred
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and layout/design skills
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and track campaign performance
  • Effective time management skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks with interweaving schedules
  • Sitting the majority of the time; physical ability for occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team collaboration and project coordination
  • CRM management – maintain and update member data within HubSpot
  • Knowledge of SEM, blogs, events, and content management
  • Familiarity with marketing materials production (intranet, flyers, landing pages, email)
